Brand Studio is the strategic and creative partner to LA ORIGINAL, bringing the city to life from logo mark and initial story to a defined product strategy. Brand Studio worked alongside with 72 and Sunny, the Fund's marketing partner to craft a cohesive brand story across all platforms.
From the start, our role was two-fold— creatively build out the LA ORIGINAL brand from a product standpoint and develop a strong licensing, brand partnership, and distribution strategy to position the city and Mayor’s Fund for success.
Brand Studio provided creative strategy and direction around the use of the LA ORIGINAL brand elements into the product collection across multiple categories. The team curated the retail mix and designed the pop-up launch experience, working directly with the LA ORIGINAL makers to customize the creative logo element and developing unique graphic executions for the core products.
